    Dr. Melissa D. Shotell, DMD, MS presents a full-day hands-on workshop which encompasses intraoral optical scanning combined with exposure to digital work flow for clear aligner treatment. Clinical photography will be incorporated to allow participants to return to their home office and begin utilizing the digital work flow within their practice. This course aims to describe the procedures related to intraoral optical image production. Participants will have hands-on experience of bonding engagers to feel comfortable to return to their practice and being treatment. Participants will also have the opportunity to explore the business skills necessary to incorporate clear aligners into their practice. The workshop is a PACE approved program offering 7 hours of CE credit upon completion. Continental breakfast and buffet lunch provided.

    Workshop objectives:


    1. Understand principles, theory, and procedures of intraoral optical scanning technology
    2. Exposure to information on the incorporation of the digital flow into daily practice
    3. Acquire knowledge and confidence in photography necessary to begin clear aligner treatment
    4. Exposure to utilizing digital software to treatment plan for clear aligner therapy and the digital work flow
    5. Become experienced with techniques of intraoral scanning
